We accept any unused gifts including trinkets, tchotchkes, hostess gifts, teacher gifts, corporate gifts, personal care items, accessories, warm weather gear, household and holiday décor and non-perishable food. The older adults we serve have few material possessions so every item no matter how big or small helps to bring them joy!

Due to space limitations, we cannot accept used clothing, books or furniture. If we receive a donation that isn’t suitable, we always make sure to donate to an appropriate charity.
We love older adults! So many charities understandably focus on youth, animal or health concerns. We chose older adults who are oftentimes an overlooked segment of our population. This is our small way of fighting back against the stigma of aging that still exists in our society today.
Chicago based organizations we have donated to include Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, the Chicago Furniture Bank, H.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly), the Jones Memorial Community Center and the Victory Retirement Centre. We are always looking for new organizations to partner with. Let us know!
If you have donations but do not live close, please call or text us at 312-804-0496. We accept gifts by mail all year long and are also happy to make pick-ups when our time permits. Be sure to follow us on social as we do schedule random “Pop-Up” collections throughout the year. Better yet, why not consider hosting a donation drive in your own community! We’d be happy to guide you as to how to get one started.
